Do You Yoga

Hey guys,

I came across Do You Yoga about a year ago and I'm so glad I did! I mainly use the gym for weights training and cardio as I am confident in these areas. However Do You Yoga has given me the opportunity as a beginner to become part of the community in my own home.

Firstly i started off with the free 30 day beginner yoga ️course by Erin Motz and the short videos allowed me to quickly understand flows and different techniques from this to the meditation ️course it allowed me to think that I want to learn more.

I now upgraded to the premium account where it does charge a fee but it equates to the same amount if not less than gym classes but it's longer classes and more niche allowing me to focus on different areas.

Although I am paying for it, I did have a free account allowing me to do the free challenged which range from fat loss to meditation and the teachers are amazing.

The benefit of Do You Yoga is the information that you gain from it, also the community is very large and everyone can share their thoughts and you can learn a lot from others!

Definitely a thing to look at girls and guys!

Becoming 20

Hi,

It's been a while since my last post!

Things have been a bit crazy and have been trying to think about what to do in my blog for a little bit and I feel that I need to post weekly in order to further my blog.

So I turned 20 this week and had the best time with my friends on a very fun night out! Booked a booth at the local club Cameo and was very well looked after but also wore this beautiful dress from Missguided ...

But this blog isn't always about my birthday night out.

Becoming 20 really put into perspective about how this is the time I need to push forward and focus on furthering my degree, blog: health and career. I've really been thinking about my objectives and aims of this year so here they are...

1. Find an amazing placement
2. Work even harder at uni
3. Blog weekly and shape the theme
4. Look after myself
5. Be happy

I've been thinking about how being 20 I've focused more on what I wear and how I come across and I love walking out the door knowing I've made an effort with myself and i can go out and conquer my day.

One of my birthday presents which hasn't arrived yet is the Frank Face Set. Frank Body is an amazing body scrub and I decided to have the set as my present so will be blogging about that.

Also I've been budgeting and I plan to treat myself at H&M and buy myself a few (a lot) of things from their Divided section because it's my heaven as its all dark and edgy clothing so will be blogging again!

I also signed up for Do You Yoga complete website, I have been doing their challenges but decided to subscribe to their website and you can have a choice of many types of yoga so that's another blog idea to do.

Have a good week guys!
Next blog is Tesco's amazing Along Came Betty face products!

Band Love

Hey guys,

My main passion is music and especially modern rock and have wanted to work within the music business for a while now especially with touring, live music events and PR because if feel having the correct image, brand but most importantly message from artists is the best way to communicate with their fans. Whenever I go to gigs each band I see I have all the emotions I have ever felt from their music rush through me and it feels amazing and it's a common bond I share with fellow fans and the band. So I am going to go through my favourite bands of all time.

You Me At Six

It all started off in my nans house in 2010 before their Southampton Guildhall gig listening to Save It For The Bedroom and instantly was hooked. As they grew with their albums and music I grew up in life listening to their music and their songs relate to something in my life and means a lot. Being frank they are the main motive and inspiration to work within the music company as every gig I go to of theirs I always have the connection with every other fan of why we love them. From Cardiff to Plymouth, Southampton, Reading Festival, London and many more gigs I've been to I always feel like I can by myself. Their recent album Cavalier Youth is incredible it's very different to Sinners Never Sleep and their previous albums but artists need to change their music as life changes but their characteristics live on and is honestly insane there is no other word for it! So if there is any tiny possibility that they read this blog thank you for being amazing inspirations, I hope I get the opportunity to meet you, and PLEASE DJ at District in Bournemouth and if you ever do you'll thank me cause it's an awesome night and I'll show you the signature cocktail Donkey Kong!

Deaf Havana

Although there was a sad departure from the group these boys are insane, started being a fan from 2011 and loved them from the start. First seeing them in Bath then Reading Festival their music adapted and their music got soooo good. My favourite has to be Fools and Worthless Liars with their alternative version is so diverse and amazing the use of acoustics shows off their skills and characteristics of the band. I recently met James and Max at District in Bournemouth, and they were genuine lovely guys made sure they had time to chat and had a really awesome conversation with them. They were up for a laugh and did an awesome DJ set as well. Although everyone needs to check out Friends Like These their early work but also their new work as well because the difference is amazing but still show how good they are.

Don Broco

Adoration is the only word I have for these guys. I've seen them in Plymouth, London and Reading Festival and each time I swear they get better. I have developed a majorly be for these guys their recent album is so different yet contains the same type of sounds but just a edge of different style Superlove is my favourite of their new album but their older stuff I would recommend is Whole Truth, Priorities and you know what just listen to every song because they rock in every one! I recently met Matt at Distrixt again in Bournemouth and he was so friendly and made time for everyone even though it was so hectic due to the launch of the club night. Now all I need to do is meet Tom, Rob and Simon!

These bands are my life and my motivation to work in the music business.

Thanks for reading xo

Where I Want To Travel

Hello again,

I have quite a lot of friends who have been travelling and I am so jealous is where they have been. But it makes me think that I want to do that, I don't know when I will be able to do it but I can't live this life without seeing the world! So I put 3 of my top places to go!

Pamukkale, Turkey

I have been Turkey before twice but to Olu Deniz the popular resort popular for its a Blue Lagoon Beach and it is stunning but this is where I want to go next! It's absolutely stunning with its small little pools right on the edge, you have a great view plus it's a different side of Turkey that I thinks really beautiful and you never get to see any sight like this. I can imagine it literally feels like your in the clouds!

Algarve, Portugal

I have always wanted to go to the Algarve for me Portugal is a way for me to develop my Spanish and learn Portuguese but also its culture and beaches are dreamy! And I am a beach girl I dreaming of waking up everyday isn't a bad way to dream!

Madrid

As well as being a beach bum I love visiting cities, I went to Granada two years ago and the culture was really fascinating and loved living with the culture and having new experiences. I met a few people from Madrid and they said it's the perfect mixture for people who want nightlife but culture as well! Plus it can put my Spanish skills into good use!

Now let's hope I win the lottery so I can afford this!

Missguided Must Haves

Hey guys,

It's my 20th next month and I feel like I should treat myself to some new purchases plus I'm lacking on some nice black tops lately. I really wanna start my 20's in style too!

That's kinda crazy to say twenties cause I still feel like I shouldn't be growing up to fast!

First of all it is bloody freezing and my turtle necks are coming out of the wardrobe. I already have one black turtle neck but I found a really cute one in a bodysuit format and I love my bodysuits.

Secondly I just bought a cute bralet that I've wanted for ages. Well my nan bought it as a birthday present but I stupidly sent it here! (It was an accident I promise!). It will be great for summer but casual nights out I wanted a see through black top to go with it and Missguided provide the best one!

Finally February is a busy social month! I have three birthday nights out including my own and I intend to buy something extra for those nights! And cue my favourite of them all yet again another bodysuit but with lush details around the neckline and the cut!

This probably will bring my Missguided purchases count up to God knows how much but I can't help it! When I wanna treat myself Missguided always deliver!

Have a good day

David Bowie

It's a sad day for the world and the music industry,

Today we all received the sad news of David Bowie's passing at age 69.

A creator and an individual with many talents known to everyone as an actor but for me and many others a massive influencer for rock music in the 1970's.

Known for his eccentric artistic visual and attitude he shaped the glam rock industry under the name Ziggy Stardust. With his hits such as Starman and Space Oddity there is no question that his legacy will live on.

He as well as many other has shaped music today and will never be forgotten even continuing to work up until his passing he is a true inspiration to all of us.

Although it is a sad day we can learn a lot from his life. For me one of his quotes that to many has meant a lot.

A touching statement I feel, as we can't question what the future holds so we may as well embrace it and do what ever we like with it and be creative just like David was.

Rest peacefully David,
You made such an impact.

Favourite Bloggers

Hey guys,

I've been doing so much revision I sometimes loose concentration and question where I wanna be and the direction I wanna go to. But everyday I always look at Sarah Ashcroft's and Lydia Millen's blogs and instagrams they are my two favourite bloggers who inspire me to carry on and continue doing what I am doing as it will be worth it.

Sarah Ashcroft

This blogger is for me the one whose helped me figure out my personal style and introducing me to looking after myself because at times I always work and never look after myself other than showering everyday I never took the time out to treat myself. With her make up blogs on her YouTube channel and her daily posts of her fashion advice she has inspired me to pursue my interest in fashion and design and make sure I have time for myself. Her travel pictures from Cyprus as well have me in awe as it makes me want to travel too!

She teamed up with Lydia Millen about starting a blog as well as their favourite products and it inspired me to keep up with blogging. As it keeps me on track to pursuing my career.

Lydia Millen

Lydia Millen is one of my other favourite bloggers and the first one who I came across and I am so glad I did! She has so much to offer from fashion, to fitness, travel and wellbeing this girl has helped me in so many ways!

Just like Sarah she is down to earth and has worked hard to get to where she is. Like Sarah her fashion style is distinct and amazing so it gives me ideas of stuff that I want to purchase obviously I work a lot so I only spend stuff on things that I want to treat myself to. In terms of travel she has been to so many places and it makes me want to work harder at uni and my job so when I have the opportunity I will go and visit countries I want to go to.

Most importantly she has helped me with wellbeing from her Instagram posts and YouTube videos she introduced me to yoga and meditation as I get stressed and anxious quite a lot and Lydia is very open about wellbeing and from her advice I have started yoga and meditation and have never felt better!

Go check these amazing ladies out!

Bye xo
